Condition: Very
good Washstand tiles with trimmed corners, a few tiny
> minute rim chips most if not all would be
hidden in a typical iron fireplace. Some rubbing
mostly near the edges of the green where the glaze
has pooled, other very minor surface marks. Perhaps
the ideal compromise for recreating an edwardian
feel not so perfect that they may appear to be
reproductions yet not so tarnished to appear
unloved. Style: Art
nouveau A good set of ten chequer tiles great for
smaller areas whereas larger areas had
alternating decorative and plain 6" x 6" tiles.
Unusual with the design flower across two
diagonal segments, unusual that the design is of
a daffodil. By its very nature the daffodil does
not natural take to the art nouveau style so
when we see them they do tend to be pretty wild
designs. Nice bright and natural colours,
excellent for interior design. Versos very clean with embossed design
registration number and hand written pattern
number. Click the image below for a supersize
