A rare design, not only that but I can't recall seeing it before but that it has no clear 'correct' orientation and looks absolutely fine whichever way it is viewed. Quite high relief and an excellent honey brown glaze make a most attractive tile. Tiles from this maker are relatuvely uncommon and whilst I suspect that those by more adventurous techniques were subcontracted to Maw I think it likely this was made in Ruabon. Verso very clean, embossed J C Edwards, Peny Bont, Ruuabon, firm grip.   Information Tiles For Sale Contacts Order Information
