A secessionist tile the design seen from time
to time, I have seen ten or twelve over the
years. Always in or from washstands where
presumably they were complimented by
secessionist basin, ewer and so on and usually
in handed pairs. Always rich colours though I
have seen one or a pair with brughter
flowerheads.
I think this more likely Wadsworth than Solon
it has his economy of line. Solon introduced the
Secessionist range at the start of the twentieth
century, Wadworth expanded it after Solon
left.
