Quite a rare design, I believe I've only seen
it one time before and in different colours. I
believe one could say art deco more readily than
art nouveau but it's debatable, and art deco
started quite early in the 'art nouveau period'
certainly before 1910.
Verso very clean, remains of Made in England
embossed mark. Whilst 'Made in England' is
often reported as a 20th century mark indeed
frequently with more specific dates such as post
1920 or after 1906 it was in fact in use from
1890.
Half a dozen very
tiny/minute rim chips, surface near
perfect.
