One very small, three very tiny and couple
minute rim chips, surface very near perfect. Style: Art nouveau/floral A great floral/art nouveau floral design from
near the begining of the art nouveau era, the
pattern number indicates that its creation can
be dated to the very end of 1899 or start of
1900. From the Léon Solon era at Mintons
when in my opinion their best modern works were
made and this probably designed by him. Vienna
secessionist and arts & crafts influences in
the design as we may find in the prelude to the
peak of art nouveau. Glazed in super bright
earth tones the colourway a little unusual the
design found with a blue background more
often. Verso clear of adhesive but somewhat grubby,
embossed Mintons etc and pattern number.
