Nicely proportioned for those who frame their tiles also the typical Rhodes manufacturing flaws near the rim would disappear. Rhodes was a 'cheap and cheerful' tile maker and whilst manufacturing flaws are typical their colours are bright and glazes brilliant. The design looks typically late edwardian however the original artwork is dated 1915, in any case the pattern number and grip pattern indicate later than edwardian.
