Style; Art nouveau An unusual tile panel with a landscape of
sailing boats near a shoreline with windmills
and trees on the shore, from the edwardian era
when dutch scenes were popular but I think this
may be of England. Printed with a solid outline
and painted with translucent majolica glazes,
some similar were done with cuerda seca, slip
trail and tube line outlines indeed some designs
by this company used several techniques. Versos very clean, embossed England Condition: Fine One small and a few tiny rim chips, other
very minor marks, surface near perfect.
