Two tiny shallow chips right edge, minute chips
wear to the outline, glaze surfaces near
perfect. Style: Art nouveau Art nouveau designs from Minton Hollins are
relatively uncommon, this is a superb example.
Excellent flowing movement in the lines,
flowerheads with a unique style yet taking cues
from 'Mackintosh Rose' genre flowers, rich
colours against a lovely mint green ground. Minton Hollins art nouveau tiles tend to be
rather a strange mix, this the most mainstream
of their designs and one of the more popular
although still not often found, it bears
similarities with a Marsden pattern. Versos very clean, embossed Minton Hollins
etc.
