Chips top corners, two minute chips on the
bottom edge, apparent other chips bottom edge etc
are glazed over manufacturing flaws, a little wear
on the outline hear the bottom, tiny chip on the
raised line near the top, a small patch of scuffing
on the middle leaf and other very minor surface
marks Style: Art
Nouveau A wildly assymetric design full and flowing,
moulded in quite high relief and decorated in
four colours. Rather an extreme design, not
often found, Boote only registered a few art
nouveau designs and it seems they chose the
wrong ones for few are found very often. Boote's
glaze painting rarely too precise and this one
of the least but a fascinating extreme design
reflecting the experimentation of srt nouveau
style. Verso very clean, unmarked.
