Three tiny glaze losses to the rim more wear
than damage, very minor surface marks. Amazingly
bright glaze. Style: Art
nouveau A strong late victoriana design, floral based
with a hint of gothic. A pattern that works
equally well as a stand alone tile as in a
panel, it was often used in large areas and
chequer arrangements in inns, theatres and other
public buildings. In an olive brown glaze which
is superbly brilliant. Verso perfectly clean, embossed pattern
number, moulded in a reverse of the front to
ensure consistent thickness and best
quality.
