A quite early art nouveau tile dating
from around 1900 from Corn Brothers who had
renamed to Henry Richards by 1903. Embossed in
quite high relief without the raised outline
which was almost universally adopted a few years
later so technically quite a difficult
multicolour tile to make. A good design that
fills the tile.
Verso very clean, embossed C in opposing
corners, painted pattern number.
