Perfect however some minor glazing flaws mostly
near the rim. Style:
Floral From around the turn of the century before
art nouveau was became mainstream a lightly
stylised floral design echoing styles of the
arts & crafts movement. Semi-realistic in
natural colours but with an unusual bright
yellow and blue ground, brilliantly glazed. The design featured in one book about art
nouevau tiles, in another about arts &
crafts tiles, neither are accurate. I wouldn't
call this art nouveau not arts and crafts but
perhaps one can see the tendency, for sure one
could say conventionalised floral. Versos perfectly clean embossed JB, England
and pattern number. Perfect however some minor manufacturing
flaws. Perfect however some minor manufacturing
