A good full design in the style of the times showing some gothic influence indeed one may say a continuance of Pugin's light gothic style. Webbs tiles are rarely found in the marketplace but it is clear that they made blanks and probably fully decorated tiles for Wedgwood. This has an unusual verso for the company with a ring grip pattern and embossed Henry C Webb, Worcester instead of the more common Webb's Tileries, Worcester.
