A nice pair of tiles making a panel with a
floral centrepiece surrounded by an aesthetic
styled border printed in warm brown and tinted
in six bright colours. All overglaze decoration,
this an early panel from the company that became
the most prolific decorative tile maker of the
early twentieth century. Would make a super
statement as the centrepiece of a tabletop or
splashback, can be mounted both horizontally or
vertically.
Versos very clean but some smoke stain,
embossed England and printed pattern number and
initials.

Left tile near perfect with only very slight
marks, right tile small chip right edge, tiny
chip bottom left corner. Glazing flaws top left
corner right tile and minimal wear to the
enamels both tiles but overall considering the
rarity and manufacturing technique a most
excellent pair of tiles.
