Two tiny chips top left corner, no other damage,
minor manufacturing flaws, the right edge stuck to
the kiln furniture, usually a little of the tile
breaks away upon removal this time there's a little
of the crank stuck to the tile both near top and
bottom of right edge. Perfect surface, brilliantly
glazed. Style/technique:
Aesthetic floral
print This is a very competant design, not over
decorative but it is full and it is flowery.
Fairly small central group of flowers within an
eight pointed start (overlapping squares),
filled with pebbles and around that cracked ice
and gothic corner motifs. Well printed in a nice
warm brown, carries an air of quality. Verso very clean, LT and England
embossed. The image is full size at 72 dpi (about 430
pixels wide) in maximum quality JPEG format, a
larger 120 dpi image also in maximum quality JPEG
format can be forwarded by email if required. The image is a little oversize rather than
cropped close to the edges so that the edges can
easily be seen and any chips etc can be quickly
spotted. Other marks described are usually not
visible at all when the tile is viewed straight as
one normally sees it and can only be seen with a
critical eye when the tile is tilted to catch
imperfections in reflected light. For more details
of how we describe marks see Condition.
