An A W N Pugin for Minton & Co design dating from
the 1840s or 1850s the tile made in the 1870s or 1880s by
Mintons China Works. The design is illustrated in another
colourway in Mintons catalogue on sheet 4 and has pattern
number 1117.
Verso unmarked, their usual diagonal grip pattern but
without the name or badge. This version was used to
supply ironfounders and other major customers.
