Very tiny chip bottom left corner, two very tiny
surface marks otherwise perfect surface. Style: Art nouveau A fairly uncommon design, comes along every
few years it seems, quite early, the bold
flowerhead is indicative of earlier Art Nouveau
design and Corn Brothers were leading exponents
of the style. The design also seems to have been
influenced by Celtic art as the stems intertwine
like knots. Nice range of colours, olive green
backround, almost turquoise foliage, deep blue
and orangy-yellow flowerhead. Verso near perfectly clean, embossed C in
opposing corners.
